Day 64: Leaf Texture Up Close
2026-04-11
Back at the university garden...
Hello! Writing to you from Delaware, where I'm yet again out of my comfort zone.
It was mostly cloudy when I took the photo, with only a few moments of sunshine. I took this photo in horizontal / landscape orientation, but cropped it as vertical. There are just too many horizontal photos posted on this website at the moment. Gotta switch things up.
Not much else in today's post. Sorry.
I spent last night watching videos from Courtney Victoria, nature and macro photographer who is also taking a break from social media in April, if you call YouTube as social media (I do). Her video of photography in unanticipated weather is especially inspiring for me, mostly because I know it'll give me the push I need to go out and discover "the secrets of the forest".
Thank you for visiting this blog! Reply by email, subscribe via RSS, or join the 1Day1Photo newsletter, where you can get this photo a week before the internet does :-).
